We developed a set of 13 images, that recreated iconic images from history & pop culture, casting the most inappropriate member of our staff for each image (the pretty girl for Hugh Grant’s mug shot, the skinny white guy for Michael Jordan & the tall bald man for Mena Survari’s American Beauty cover).
We didn’t label the images, so that people had to guess what they referred to (some were obscure). We, directed them to our Facebook page, where we held a competition shortly after distribution to correctly name each image.
Our choice of textured, uncoated stock (Onyx Embossed) was to complement the style of photography & to aid as a tool to suggest alternative print methods & finishes to clients.
